I’m waiting on my first 2 to get through paperwork, started process in May.
Dobbs Evercore .22
Rugged Surge .30

Just can’t wait.

one thing I haven’t figured out yet is what to do with an AR that I put a .22 conversion kit into. Run the Surge on it? Or unscrew the muzzle device and direct thread the .22 can?
Not a fan of option #2

Either will work of course.
I just like the dedicated 22 cam because the 22 gets the can so dirty so fast.

If the receiver extension is two position it will have two holes.....one to lock it collapsed, the other to lock it fully open. If that's the case that stock/receiver extension/castle nut is worth some money to the retro builders! You could list it on arfcom for $200 and sell it in a day probably.

All day long!

Dang! That Colt stock is in great condition! Most of those I have seen are beat to hell. The rest of it is not worth alot, I mean anything more than what you could find anywhere else. But that Colt stock is worth a $100 bill easy, probably more due to is condition.

What is the correct “set up” for that stock? The nut that looks different from a castle nut? What about the tube

The 4 position is mil-spec diameter, the 3 position in commercial diameter.

The unmarked CAR and Essential Arms are probably loose on the 4 position tube.

That 4 position is probably a Colt also. I think someone else made a 4 position but it's most likely Colt.
