@Fast306stang from what I just read, the 1 and N is a colt. The aluminum stock with the B is “essential arms” and they stamped the B on them for commercial tubes.

the third has no markings so I’m sure it’s just a cheap clone.

Bingo Bango!

That N1 is worth north of $100...I've seen them go for almost $200 at times.

The way I could tell was the Colt poly has the vertical ribs. Some are still Colt but don't have the N1 marks. But N1 is for sure. As such, it should definitely be milspec.

That Essential Arms is worth some money too IIRC.

The buffer tube you got...2 position?

Mail call. Got these stocks, buffer tubes, a spring and buffer. One mil spec stock.
3 are what looks like what we had on the m4s in the army. 2 are polymer, one is metal. Not really milspec but not maybe not commercial? Only fits on the tubes it came with.
Also a 40 round E lander mag. Never used one before.

@Fast306stang one tune is 4 postition. Other is 3 position I believe. Or I could be wrong and it’s 3 and 2.

the third CAR stock and the other regular stock don’t have any marking. One castle nut is just a circle. Not cut outs. Also one of the tubes is plum looking. Not black.

it’s from the man who is sending us the rifle for my dad,who is also the guy who sent me the Wilcox grip and carry ha doe for secret Santa.

The castle nut on the Colt should have 2 holes in it. And the tube should be a 2 position.

Even if they aren't, you still got a major score just on the Colt stock alone...

That sure looks like the old single hole/spanner wrench required castle nut. The receiver extension (buffer tube) threads look like mil-spec too. I bet it's a two position...could it be that good?!
If you tell me what to send photos of I will I don’t know anything about this old-school stuff. It would be helpful before I throw this on a cheap AR I built for a coworker and not know I’m giving him something expensive LOL

Keep that Colt stock for sure.

The Essential Arms is cool but the commercial size is a turn off for me. Just my opinion. The other 2 stocks are a standard waffle and a CAR copy. You could let them go and not regret it later.

Pics of your nuts haha!

If the receiver extension is two position it will have two holes.....one to lock it collapsed, the other to lock it fully open. If that's the case that stock/receiver extension/castle nut is worth some money to the retro builders! You could list it on arfcom for $200 and sell it in a day probably.
