I had a 9mm DW Guardian and still kick myself for trading it. That was one of my favorite 1911's ever. I traded it for a 10mm CBOB, which I thought I wanted more at the time but even as I was driving to the trade I was already starting to regret it. Aluminum frame, bobtail, 9mm Commander is just about the perfect carry 1911 IMO.

Hmm. At about $150 more than my TRP, would it be worth selling it to get a Vigil?

Yeah, I don't look at them much because I get depressed. it is highly unlikely I'll ever be able to afford one again. I had settled on a CZ 75 compact since I could get out for $500+ for gun, holster & spare mags. That's maybe doable. But then they came out with the DWX.

Meh, that's up to you and whether YOU think it'd be worth it. I'd personally rather have a DW over a Springer though. The DW is gonna have 2x better fit and finish than the Springer. Nothing wrong with a TRP though.
