I did like 20 sit ups last week. But I seriously am going to start doing some basic exercises to get back to a better physical state. Here lately I have slacked on my physical labor. I am going to have to start out slow though to get back to some type routine.

Cut the swim short at 750m....there were these funny streaks of white light coming out of the sky and something told me that getting out of the water might be a good idea.

3 min treading water between rounds

That's how I feel about the outdoor pool now. It is officially time to suck it up and pay for the indoor pool.
Water temp was 64.....still knocked out 500m before I called it.

5.4 miles with the last 400 meters a balls out race with a couple other guys. 4:15/mile average over the last quarter mile. One of my running partners whooped my ass though. He used to run cross country for North Carolina, and routinely places in the top three in the big local half marathons and 10k's, so no shame in losing to him.

This swimming stuff is awesome. Great cardio, helps maintain upper body mass (unlike stupid running) and there are these hot chicks called 'lifeguards' that look at you like you're insane.
