No Charmander here. It said there was one close this morning. Used a lure and walked around for about an hour. Caught tons. But it never showed.... Damn it.
Just a heads up, there are some pretty cool raids coming this month.

No, I’m aim for 3*. 4* is great, but you can’t get them reliably enough.
i Do wait to evolve a Pokémon until I have enough candy to evolve it completely...just to make sure that I evolve the best one I can.
focus on 3* and fixing attacks when you get TMs. The game press site for pokemongo has great info for which attacks are best as Well as a tier list for which Pokémon are best in raids.
the rocket grunt that says something about buff physique is the on that’ll let you catch shadow machop when you defeat it. Shadow machamp is one of the best raid attackers in the game...don’t purify that machop. also, shadow stuff tends to have terrible IVs...it doesn’t matter. A 0* shadow mewtwo is better in a raid than an equivalent CP 4* non shadow...the shadow attack boost is very good
