Pressure treated for sure. Really needed to trim that 2x10 but a 2x10 came out and a 2x10 is what needed to go in but after 8 years of settling and the water damage, the new 2x10 didn't want to go in. After 6 hours of fighting it, it still wasn't seated all the way. It even has 2 lag bolts coming in from outside of the house that wouldn't draw it up. So today he's going to have to take a skillsaw and rip it to get it out and start over with a new 2x10.

I told him we needed to be careful jacking the subfloor but he said fuck it, he didn't care about the tile, he wanted the 2x10 to go in. So we wound up cracking one of the tiles in the breakfast nook and still couldn't get the damn thing seated all the way.
Pressure treated lumber is always slightly larger in dimensions. If it was a standard 2x10 to begin with, he needs to rip it 9-1/4"
