Pressure treated lumber is always slightly larger in dimensions. If it was a standard 2x10 to begin with, he needs to rip it 9-1/4"Pressure treated for sure. Really needed to trim that 2x10 but a 2x10 came out and a 2x10 is what needed to go in but after 8 years of settling and the water damage, the new 2x10 didn't want to go in. After 6 hours of fighting it, it still wasn't seated all the way. It even has 2 lag bolts coming in from outside of the house that wouldn't draw it up. So today he's going to have to take a skillsaw and rip it to get it out and start over with a new 2x10.
I told him we needed to be careful jacking the subfloor but he said fuck it, he didn't care about the tile, he wanted the 2x10 to go in. So we wound up cracking one of the tiles in the breakfast nook and still couldn't get the damn thing seated all the way.

I'm struggling right now. Feel pretty tired. Have to go to a 3 year old's birthday party later.
confusingYeah, no.
I had 50 of those and sold them all to @DeanMoriarty for $2 each since they didn't want to fit in my AK
He said he cut it with the skillsaw this morning and it went right in, just needed the width of the blade taken out.looks like its going to be an fight all the way
Wasn't much choice, that's how they serve it here lolWhich begs the question.
Is coffee from a paper cup @Hayata approved?
