I was buying Tactical Research by Belleville, specifically the hot weather boots. I have 2 pairs that have lasted 8 years, and another set that I’ve had for 3 years. But they stopped making them so I just bought a set of Merrill’s hot weather boots, and I really like them!

The Belleville T/Rs are what I wear every day in my construction job. Get a decent insole with a hard arch support and you’re GTG.

I never shot 5.56 past 600. The M110 Sniper rifle, is chambered 7.62 NATO. The M14 EBR rifles we had, (also chambered in 7.62 NATO) would easily hit 800 meters.
