I spent over an hour scraping carbon out of this thing. It was so grody the bolt would grind closed...and now I can't even test fire it because Model 60 recoil springs are a royal pita to out in at the best of times.

I never shot 5.56 past 600. The M110 Sniper rifle, is chambered 7.62 NATO. The M14 EBR rifles we had, (also chambered in 7.62 NATO) would easily hit 800 meters.

I did 2 weeks ago at Talladega with my home-made rifle. Hit the 650 yard target reliably on the “unknown distance” steel target range.
I think it has a PSA lower on it, if that makes any difference…So does that mean it’s better than a KAC?
