Did not hear compressor kick on. I am hoping it is as simple as a burned out capacitor. If it is low on freon, I have a hole somewhere. Not good.

this is the semi correct one you'll need to put a slot in the receiver. not to difficult once you find the part

Capacitors are easy to check... if the end/ ends (with the terminals) are bulged, it's bad. They should be flat.
