“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NIV
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”
1 Peter 1:3-5 NIV
I thought I'd send a message of love and hope to you all. Or rather God thinks I need a pick me up and talking about it helps.
What we see and hear everyday impacts our lives in a positive or negative way. I told my son just the other day How bright your light is dependent on you. If you fill it with negative it becomes dim if you fill it with positive it becomes bright. There’s a a tale of a Cherokee speaking to his grandson and this is what it says :
Tale of 2 Wolves
My dear one, the battle between two ‘wolves’ is inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is good. It is: joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.”
It may seem the evil in this world is strong .. people have become detached and fallen off the deep end per say. Trust in God and His plan. As a saved child of Godnyou are protected. Keep your faith in Him greater than the fear you may have now. He has promised a safe heaven with none of the problems we have in this world. Have a great weekend. Peace be with you all.
