Nice catch. The tossing and turning is a familiar feeling, that happened to me the night before I bought my .357. Someday I hope to own an AR. I have a 9mm carbine on order since December of last year.
If it were me my final decision would be not to make a decision. Otherwise put it on when you feel like a laser and take it off when you don't. Just practice and become efficient both ways. Just a thought.
Glad to hear other people giving it a thumbs up as well, although I will most likely never own one due to my Elsie's recoil is manageable for me, but now recoil sensitive people who wanted to own a Ruger center fire carry pistol has a decent option.
Was down on the river with my son yesterday, that gun is quite impressive. I think he wants one now. It will get me through this ammo shortage. I still see on some forums where people are still panic buying.
Last time I was in Chicago was in 1985 doing a municipality trade show, I was there for 4 days and 3 nights. That was enough to last me a lifetime. I never plan on going back.
It only happen to me once but I was practicing double tapping when I noticed this guy staring at me in a offsetting way. Or he just may have been amused at a salt andd pepper bearded camo wearing guy wondering if I made duck calls or something. :P
Looks to me like people may be concerned that it could happen again in a store or some public place. Copycat killings is not a myth. I would prepare myself as well.
Thanks for the link, been trying to get out to shoot it, yesterday, daughter went into labor again (had a few false alarms) so we had to go take care of her dogs, she had the baby today (its a boy! Grandchild #8) and now tonight we have to go to the hospital right after work then go take care of...
Well I broke down got the Crossman Pumpmaster Classic Pellet Pistol for $58.00. Single shot bolt action and can get up to 600 fps and it's 10.25" riffled barrel is pretty accurate with adjustable sights. All in all lots of fun until this ammo panic buying is over.
A buddy of mine has a Hatsan Mod 125 Sniper Air Rifle thats 1250 fps and it a very impressive gun. Lots of fun to shoot but it comes at a price. Average $299.00
