So is it allowed or not?

I believe the issue is how quickly contributor restraint and mutual respect get lost in comments. I can't argue with a "better safe than sorry" administrative approach in this regard. We can deal with "What Is." far better than predicting any political intentions or doctrines. That's where...

So is it allowed or not?

The old Elsie Pea Forum did have a very active (lump-it-all-together) Political section in the months after the 2008 presidential election. Lots of interesting personalities including the infamous Dr Scooter really got into it. Usually after reading the second sentence of a twelve paragraph...

    Pistol box question

You can also throw a dessicant pack into the box to absorb moisture. you can buy them at your LGS or find them packed in almost any hardlines product packaging... Sorry BDD... I didn't catch that you aleady visited this option.

    East (and West) Coast prayers

The majority of conversation in this area - fellow school district employees to be specific - is the need to invest in home generators. There is a complete erosion of belief that the infrastructure is there to return lost power in a timely manner.

    Bersa Thunder 380

No failures of any kind for all the years I've had mine. Very accurate to boot. It resides permanently in my wife's range bag along with her P22. Only downside... .380 ammo.

Bullet tax eyed in bid to curb Chicago crime

Might have to buy ammo on-line. Feel bad for the LGS's and Walmarts of the area, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Good morning at the Pro Armament/Riverside range.

Add going to the range as part of the next college visit. CHECK!

Good morning at the Pro Armament/Riverside range.

My University of Akron student son shoots there often. Sounds like a very well run range and he likes it a lot... for me, I'd like shotgun access. I promise not to splatter the target wires.

Ready for a trip to Walmart?

I'll go with Ron's vendor. Mine came from an independent vendor at a gun show in Berea, OH a while back. The truth of the matter is these dang t-shirts fit and wear... kinda like... gotta ask your wife 'cause I had to... spanx (sic). I don't really like them at all.

The most effective hardware for home defense

I'm still all in for my 12 gauge, any shotgun. The motion sensor exterior lights and skylights provide good lighting. If something was going down, there probably would not be time to give the BG the courtesy of a 911 call first.

    Ruger Range Kit

Sure beata my oversized cordura bag. That usually carries less except for targets. FF&F, here I come.

    Yard sale find

Some people just seem to be able to make their own luck. I'm seem to be the guy next in line... after the winner gets to collect. That's an impressive haul!

Caldwell low profile headset stopped working.

I had mine stop working after 9 months of use. I was pleased that Midway took care of the replacement with no hesitation despite their 1 month policy. It appears that Caldwell would have handled things just as effectively if the retailer would not. Another testament for Caldwell and kudos to...

    Interesting scenario today..

This area... and it's slightly different from city to city, has just enough uncertainty about to... not be paranoid, but to definitely pay attention to your surroundings. OK, I haven't talked to anyone with a police scanner in quite a while. :-\

    Family of Nines

There's not too much about the controls to cause concern. Here's some notable features though: The trigger is about as good as any I've encountered. The sights are awesome. even for old eyes. The gun itself is seriously accurate out to all distances I've ever tried. Guessing 35 to 50...
