A plate carrier is high on my list of purchases when finances allow. I can't recall the brand but there is a site you can get a complete carrier with plates for 300ish. Wouldn't be great for everyday but for my uses should work well enough. Do these go all the way to your belt or sit up higher?

Never saw that one hoss I think what I like most about the last ship is when they use the ships guns, not enough shows or movies use naval power.

Anyone watch it? I really enjoy the show, I think it's a refreshing look at disaster using the navy ship instead of the normal random group wandering around.

I think that lower would look good on a short SBR. I think a longer barrel would take away from the lower.

Depending on the situation. Bug out to my In laws farm is the ideal solution. But that's a five hour drive under ideal conditions. More than likely go to my parents house, its alot closer and my best friend lives 6 houses down so I have some people I trust I can hole up with.

So, what do you do to your carry gun to make it YOUR gun. I typically carry a glock of some sort. All my glocks end up with glock night sights, Glock extended slide lock, Vickers tactical mag release, and a 3.5lb connector. What modifications, if any, do you have on your carry gun?

Update Been using this for a couple weeks now, I dont get to carry much now due to working a ton, But it had still been the most comfortable way to carry IWB I have ever carried. Beats Crossbreed, Comp-tac, and Bladetech.

I am not a certified instructor (yet), but I would be happy to do something like that if people wanted to learn some basic or slightly above basic first aid type stuff.

I buy as much as I can from amazon simply because of the 2 day shipping. LApolicegear.com has always been a good place with good prices too. I wish there was a local store with a better selection of holsters and gear. As it is now I have to go to several different stores to ever find what I want.

If you need any help deciding what medical supplies you need let me know. I dont know much but I am fairly familiar with that stuff.
