I do think that whenever things get stupid I will try and get into precision shooting. I figure bolt actions arnt going anywhere and I won't burn through a hundred rounds of ammo each range trip.

I'm still short a couple guns that may end up on a banned list. Otherwise it's just mags and ammo. If things do get retarded I'll use that time to buy the extras that will be safe. They won't ban slings, lights, holsters, etc... Pump action shotguns and small CC guns are probably safe for a while.

but then you have to pay them and house them. What happens if I'm trying to rub one out when the break in happens. I don't want some SF guy seeing me at half chub. I'd rather put on a helmet with NV and go shoot the bad guy myself with a half chub.

If I ever win the lottery I'll buy the full set up and put a kill switch by the bed for the house power and automatic blinds. I'd feel real bad for a home intruder with that set up.

That's true. I love .45 and I will have another. I use 9mm because my wife is more comfortable shooting it then .45. Till the gun fund allows more guns I stick with guns she will shoot. Internet commandos are fucking annoying.

I will probably take you up on that offer soon. If I do go with a less expensive one it will eventually go onto a .22 and be replaced with a "name brand" one.

Aimpoint pro, aimpoint t1, eotech, maybe the budget versions like vortex or primary arms. Just can't decide between the aimpoint pro size or the micro red dot size. I think I'm going to try one of the budget versions first and see how I like it before I commit to the real deal ones but can't...

so if any of you have noticed the optics demo display at adventure outdoors in the back corner where they have optics mounted to plastic guns. Is there a store in the metro area that has something similar with red dots?

That's my plan exactly. I really love Keymod over rails. Way more comfortable in the hand. Now if I can just figure out this damn optic I'll be set.

I'm still debating on ordering the black spider optic to give it a try. They are 140 with mount. I really want to try a couple different ones out before I buy one though. I wish stores had some mounted so I could see how I like them on a gun.

My short term goal is 10 pmags and 10 Glock mags. Then I'm going to focus on ammo for a while. If I can afford more mags I'll pick them up when I find deals but a minimum of 10 each will be good enough for my "needs". Maybe a couple 33 round Glock mags too. And for some stupid reason I really...

That's how I'm leaning. I already have a polytac and it is a great light. Plenty bright enough for use on a HD rifle.

AR mags and G19 mags, ammo as I can afford it. Maybe a G17 or 34 of overtime keeps being available at work. I'm just going to keep buying mags and ammo to fill them each paycheck.
