Saw this used Hungarian AK at Cabela's today and I know some of them are pretty desirable and command a pretty penny sometimes. I don't know enough about these variants to know if it was a good buy. It had the ugly Druganov stock, no threaded barrel, and no bayonet lug. The price was $599.

They were supposed to release their complete rifles months back. They even listed them on the website but with no option to add to cart and then pulled them a few days later. Word was there were QC problems, something to do with improper head spacing.

Nope, I think I paid $89.

I've never used Fireclean but recently picked up a VP9 on a trade and when I got it home and broke it down there was a white grease like substance on the internals of the slide that I thought looked like Crisco.

I play pretty regularly. I'm not great but shoot in the 90's and it's just fun and relaxing for me.

I think the Somak will do just fine for me. Looking forward to getting it all in and sighted in.

Just picked up a VP9 today and it came with a Blackpoint OWB rig that is very nice but I'm more of a IWB person. You guys with VP9's, what are yall using?? I may throw a light on it also, so that is a option.
