    The newer production WASR's are good to go. If you do a little Google research you will see that the new production rifles have straight sights, much better fit and finish, and better wood. I have one and its soooo much better then the WASR's of the past.

    What AR back up sights do you use?

    Haven't got to shoot it yet. I really am impressed with the build quality and the way it handles. I ordered the Shockwave kit for it and put a Primary Arms micro dot on it. Hopefully I will shoot it very soon. Looks to be a keeper and maybe a SBR soon.

    It has a hand stop but I think I would be more comfortable with a VFG. But it's no big deal either way, just was curious.

    The way I read the rule, as long as it's over 26" you can throw on a VFG. It's just all so damn stupid.....
