    Ultimate suppressed upper?

They use x-ray as well as MPI, as a means of nondestructive testing. Sionics elected to use x-ray testing in lieu of proof loads (destructive testing). Some in the industry, including Knights Armament, prefer not to use proof testing, as it may actually reduce the useful life of parts like...

    That ought to work!

Hmmmm. How much length does the mini grunt add?

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

Thanks, I'm sure I left out some other options too. The idea I'm going for here is simplicity. No adjustments, no set screw adjustment, no swapping buffers, all while maintaining a smooth recoil impulse, minimal gas face and solid reliability. What I'm curious to see is how it runs suppressed...

    EoTech refund

I always just used my pocket change to adjust the dials. But one of them had nice positive clicks and the other was like mush. Every time is shot it at 100, it had drifted left or right. I love their reticle, but they have real problems. The battery issues of the older generations had kept me...

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

These days, there are all sorts of products and gadgets out there to help deal with shooting suppressed (technically over gassing). Adjustable gas BLOCKS ("AGB"), adjustable carriers, the WAR upper, even adjustable gas keys to replace the standard version. To me, none of these solutions are...

2 MOA for me. And a tangodown slip over cover.

I really had high hopes for the Trijicon. Hopefully they'll eventually make it into the optic everyone hoped it would be. The T1 is an awesome optic. I'd bet you can find some like new used ones for much less than a new T2. I love my Aimpoints, but dang they're expensive.

Careful. The new Trijicon red dot already has issues. On my last one, an EXPS, it seemed like the zero was always drifting around. And trying to adjust it was a crap shoot. The clicks weren't positive at all, nor were they repeatable. I really wanted to like that sight, but it was a POS.

    Ruger Silent-SR

With options like the Spectre, Mask and others in the same price range, I'm not sure why anyone would buy the Ruger unless they've come up with a design that is significantly superior to others on the market. And I'm not sure that's even possible these days.

    Innovative Arms Grunt-M Demo

Cool. I've always heard about that place, but never been there. Glad that they were able to get back up and running after the issue with the neighbors a couple of years ago.

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

Jake has an integral 10/22 hanging on the wall at QRF, but I don't remember if it is the HTA or something else. Pretty neat little package.

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

CCI standard velocity is subsonic ya know? It's pretty much all I shoot out of my FVSR. The bulk pack HV stuff feeds the pistol. I'll tell you this, squirrel hunting with the suppressed FVSR is stupid fun.

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

For years, I had no interest in suppressors. Mainly because they were expensive and partially because I didn't think I would have need for one. The juice didn't seem worth the squeeze. Now, I own three, with another pending. Not everyone wants one or sees the value. And that's OK too. Some...

Is the tumbler and stainless media OK for something like the baffles in a Tirant 9?
  19. DarthVader

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times.

I'd think that would be OK for a moderate or minimal amount of 22 shooting. But let's face it, 22lr cans are alot of fun. I shoot it as much as my 5.56 can. And suppressors are a lifetime investment. I don't really want to worry about ruining my 5.56 can over time, by filling it up with lead. My...
