    BCM rifle quality, durability, accuracy?

Can't go wrong with BCM. But I'd recommend the KMR-A model or just get one without a rail. The new Centurion CMR rails are excellent and available in keymod or mlok.

    Body armor.

Of course. Plates don't make you bullet proof. They simply offer a layer of protection to the most vital organs. If you get hit in an extremity, you might survive, especially if you can apply a TQ or perform some other self aid. But if you take one in the chest, you're probably done for. And...

    Body armor.

Well, it's a plate carrier, so just the torso, heart, lungs and upper abdomen.

Call me crazy, but my plate carrier with Level IV ESAPI plates is riding with me today.

Stay safe man. Quiet so far, I hope.

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

There's a dissertation's worth of discussion on the enhanced carrier over on m4carbine.net.

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

Mine is running great. I actually tested it out yesterday with some steel cased ammo. I was actually surprised that it ran great. Since steel case is typically lower pressure and I have this gun set up to shoot pretty softly, I didn't think it would run reliably. But it ran through 100 rounds of...

    Body armor.

Gotcha. I was just thinking about it from the perspective that an active shooter is different than riding in the hood. They're already shooting innocents. And it seems like an unarmed paramedic would make a good target for a deranged lunatic. I agree it sounds like a great idea. But you guys...

    Makes you rethink PMAGS.

I had a batch of the original Gen 1's. Sent them all back to Magpul for replacement.

    Body armor.

If they expect you guys to enter an active shooter situation, they should let you go in armed. But you guys didn't sign up to be combat medics. They'd be better off giving some medic training to SWAT team members.

As far as polymer mags go, the Tangodown mags are highly underrated. If you find them cheap, buy 'em.

    Makes you rethink PMAGS.

It may be an unfounded concern, but I do wonder if they will weaken over time. I've got probably 30-40 Pmags, so it's not like I'm against using them. But I've switched to buying aluminum mags now. I can get them cheaper and if they sit in a box for 10-20 years, they'll be as good as new. Like I...

    Makes you rethink PMAGS.

I've got several Pmags that are problem children and often cause a failure of some sort. Usually a double feed. I think the feed lips have weakened over time. The ones that cause issues are also some of the oldest that I own. My bigger concern these days is the shelf life of polymer. I've...

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

They've got 25% off all Geissele. But I'm tapped out. Bought 4k rounds of ammo, a new Sionics A5 lower, a 16" Sionics OEM upper and a Geissele rail. I'm taking the fam to Disney in September, so I'm laying off of gun stuff for a while. I'll probably pick up a couple of stripped lowers and a...

Thanks. I think the plus designates the rubber over mold.

Where did you get the lowers. I need a couple stripped lowers for the rat hole.

Love that Punisher lower. Awesome. Is that the K2 grip? I'd like to see how that one feels.
