I would have liked the U notch but for the price I was able to overlook that.

Especially for the price. I wanted some trijicon HDs but they are out of my budget. I can get two sets of these for cheaper than the HDs.

Your welcome. The released it at SHOT show this year the day after I got the TLR. I'll move the TLR to another gun eventually and buy one of them for my 19.

That makes sense. I would consider a belt pouch then. When I first started working EMS I had one that held my radio, shears, pen light, and multitool. It worked well but I use a different set up now.

Also for compactness, it was released after I bought my TLR-1 (bad luck on my part) but there is a new inforce APL that fits a G19 perfectly, narrow and doesn't stick past the muzzle.

I can't remember the brand, it was similar to the maxpedition one. I kept it in the cargo pocket of my work pants and it pulled that side down too much. It was also a huge pain any time I needed to get something out. For example, if I needed to jot down a quick note I had to pull the pouch out...

I tried one. I don't like that I can't spread the weight around my pockets. For use in a bag it isn't bad but it makes getting things in and out less convenient

I dont care for the controls (difficult to put it on constant) and I've read of several folks having problems ranging from emitter failure to mounting problems. I looked real hard at one but for the cost it didn't do what I wanted and I didn't like reading about the issues folks were having.

I like it. I've been researching that caliber for a build after that same thread.

I'd have done the same. I think it's reasonable to offer safe storage while you are there.

I thought that too but after I realized that I can't carry my son and use the shotgun I switched to a handgun as my go to.
