A RMR is a game changer, in something like a 3 gun shoot... And if you did have to use EDC, and it had a RMR on it, I think you would be a lot more confident w/your self defence gun w/ a RMR... Just my .02 cents worth.
I'd like to get one as well and put it on my G17 I just dont have the money at this time, or I would have a Trijicon RMR... Don't they run around $500-600 bucks? Dose anyone else make a RMR for a Glock that dosent require batteries?
I run my rifles pretty much bone stock, like a issue M4, But there is one thing I add to all of my AR's and thats a BMC Gunfighter charging handel. I do like the Magpul MOE + grip over the standard issue A2/M4 grip.
I like the 2 suggestions above, maybe a nice H2O purifier system, medical supplies, also stuff people dont think of but use every day TP, paper towels, tampons etc...
Just my .02 worth.... I have shot my AR in a 3 gun comps, more then one time w/ the budget silver bear ammo...It sucks for accuracy... So much so, it key holed at 25 meters...I think there are budget builds that will work for you. In a rifle in 5.56... We need to get lunch, or meet Dobbs place...
Send me a PM, and ask your dad, if he knows where I can get the trainer discount forms. I have 3 of them & and I like them. I'm 100% serious. I'd really appreciate your help!
I have shot my Eotech at -30 on a army range, hit 35 out of 40 targets. I have never been anywhere that is 122 degrees... But I have shot my rifle all day long w/ the Eotech in 90-95 degree weather.
Flash hiders are not that bad, Its the muzzle breaks that are loud as hell to other shooters
A muzzle break tends to dump all the gasses to the side, keeping the barrel down, great for the shooter, but really loud for the guys next to him.
