Nice looking rifle... If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it? ( or trade ) I need a few more rifles in my Grandfathers gun cabinet, thats in my war room. Right now all it has is German and Russian rifles, and a insanely nice K-31.

Get the M1, it will go up in value, you all ready have some ammo for it, and if there is another ammo shortage, there will always be 30-06 ammo around, unlike most of the other calibers.

I like the 5.45x39 round... But I'd look into getting a AK-74 before a Vepr... Just my 2 cents. And get as many 5.45x39 mags as you can, they get hard to find, from time to time...

I think I have a 1980's 20 round colt mag. If you decide to go that route. :)

I will say this... My all steel S&W flashlight is way better than my surefire flashlights, the surefire lights "drain the battery" even in the off position.

You mean like the same number of full auto weapons, SBR's, and guns with silencers? Some where around zero as well. And thank God there are laws in place to keep use safe from switch blade knives, and Nunchucks, because we all know how many people get assaulted with those as well.:)

That sounds about right... The range was odd, sections were huge dug out trench's and a rifle section about 100 yards, with two rows of man size steel targets, one row slightly above the other...

It was okay, there were a lot of people shooting, I had a pretty good time & I was by myself, it was a spur of the moment thing. The directions I pulled off line sucked though, I barely found the place.

At night I drink myself to sleep, and pretend I don't care that your not here with me... Because its so much easier to handle all of my problems, if I'm too far out to see... REM "Don't go back to Rockville." But seriously try reading before going to bed, instead of watching TV.

I did a 3 gun awhile back here in Ga, but I can't remember the name of the gun club, it was way up I85 or 985.

@Laufen, he would turn me into the ATF... For having a unregistered silencer. :(
