    S&W introduces Shield 380

Hence my saying I wouldn't carry one for defense IF I HAD OTHER OPTIONS. Are you seriously just responding for the sake of arguing at this point?

    S&W introduces Shield 380

I recently tried a murder case where they guy used a .22 pistol. I wouldn't want to stand down range of one of those, but wouldn't carry one for defense if I had other options.

    S&W introduces Shield 380

When there are small, light, and thin 9mms out there, it really shrinks the group down that it would truly be the best option for. I don't know why that's so hard to believe. The size difference between most .380s and their single stack 9mm counterpart (whether it be the LCP/LC9, G42/G43...

    S&W introduces Shield 380

Again, to each their own. I just think there are better alternatives for any of the people's needs you listed than going to .380. Can't rack a slide? Get a revolver. Don't like heavy recoil? Get a larger gun. Everything in carry pistols is a tradeoff. I just think if people really got a hold of...

    S&W introduces Shield 380

That seems like a definitive statement for a completely non-definitive set of scenarios. There is no guarantee a .380 or 9mm will stop an attack, just like there's no guarantee a .50 BMG will stop an attack. There are no guarantees. We are dealing with degrees and probabilities. And it is...

    S&W introduces Shield 380

So we are willing to accept that a few millimeters make a big difference in size of carry gun, but we act like a hundred foot pounds of energy is a "minimal" difference, worth sacrificing for those few millimeters. I'll never understand this logic. The difference in effectiveness between a 9mm...

    Sig P365

I'm not a Sig guy. But I have friends who are. Their loadout is usually a P320 for most situations or a P290rs for pocket carry or deep concealment. Having handled both of those quite a bit, this new P365 appears to be a perfect replacement for the P290. The 290 is not a fun gun to shoot. It has...

    S&W introduces Shield 380

Hard pass. With the tiny 9mms out there these days I see no advantage to carrying a .380. I can pocket carry a G43 or LC9s, or even a Shield 9mm, so why would I need this?

Anti-2A professional shooter just got canned...

I was referring to an unsubstantiated tradition that Nimrod married his own mother, Semiramis. Many people have run with that theory and come up with all types of conspiracy theories. The main one is the book "The Two Babylons" that puts forth the Catholic Church as a continuation of the...

Didn't Nimrod also do his mom?

    Sig P320

It's not that Glock ergonomics are great, it's that they're more universal. They are blocky. Yes. But they are what they are and any hand can hold a block. Once you start designing curves and palm swells and other ergonomic features, those things only fit certain people's hands. For those that...

    Sig P320

I've shot it a bunch. The guy that I teach CCW classes with is a Sig guy and carries one. I'm a Glock guy. It's a nice gun. It has the same ergonomics as the other sigs, so if you like it, you like it. I personally don't care for it much, but that's just preference. The trigger still has that...

    scope reticals

At those ranges the reticle's utility is minimal, so go with whatever suits your eye better. And that is subjective to the user, so we can't help much with that. Based on what you're saying about your vision, if I had to guess, I'd say just go with duplex.

    Sharp new Mossberg

It also doesn't mean you can't pee straight. My Mossberg bolt gun shoots sub-moa. I'm just sayin'.

    Sharp new Mossberg

I have a 4x4 in .30-06 that is a tack driver. One of my favorite bolt guns I own.

    New Glock

I've never had an issue with finger grooves on any gun. Either my hands are the size everyone designs gun grips for (I'm 6'5" so I have decent sized hands), or my brain just blocks out the feel of finger grooves because I never even notice them.

    New Glock

I just don't see anything the Gen5 offers that would cause me to replace my Gen3 G26. Meh.

    Corroded Ammo?

I don't know about where you are, but where I live it's a crime.

    Corroded Ammo?

You're probably best off just disposing of it. As was mentioned, the local police will usually do this for you. Or you can just pull the bullets yourself and dispose of the components accordingly.

What's your Conceal Carry? Why do you like it?

Yes it is easy to draw from. The back part is only connected to the holster part at the bottom and allows you to easily slip your hand in between it and the gun's grip. The way the gun is oriented in the back pocket it isn't uncomfortable to sit on either. It feels no different than my wallet...
