They are stupid not to make vanguards for the single stacks. People buy single stacks because they are thin. People buy vanguards because they don't add thickness. It just makes sense that people would love a holster that keeps their thin guns thin. I think it's safe to say the shield and 43 arnt going anywhere and have been popular enough to invest in production.
Youve convinced me lol. Im gonna try and make one now... Why havent I considered this before now?!

I like it. You'll have to let us know how it does after you've carried it some
Yeah I'm gonna try it out. It doesn't lock up as tight as the Raven. Snaps in and out nicely but there is like a mm or two of play. Gotta tinker to figure out where it's coming from to fix on the next try. The cool thing is I can use scrap pieces of kydex/holstex etc because it's so small haha.

That's a great choice. The only reason I didn't get that one is I was able to get a XDs with 5 mags for the same price as the Ruger with one. Still wish I didn't.
Yeah, they have nice triggers. I'd try to find one on the odt, but I'd rather pay less and have a new one lol.

I think my LGS has them for $339, and I've seen them on sale for $309 on the Internet. Seems most used ones are in the $350+ range

I waited anxiously for 2 years for the 43 to come out. I was sure it was going to be the ultimate carry gun. Sold mine a week after getting it, I hated the damn thing. Just to big for a 6 shot 9mm, I like the shield and lc9 better but ultimately just stuck with the 19.

I want to get a 43 to try out.

For me, a Kahr CM9 is the smallest 9mm I have shot that is reliable. I'm not sure a 43 would fit in my pocket with the extra length. My work pants have pretty small pockets. I carry a 19 on the weekends and when I'm not at work so no problems there.

Bought a 42 to pocket carry in a Remora sticky holster then scored a great deal on a 43. Carried it for a few months. It was noticeably bulkier, printed more and heavier. Traded it for a 19 (even) and returned to the 42.

I'm not wild about .380 and it upsets my OCD having another caliber to stockpile, but for pocket carry, it's working.
