Shooting her at that moment doesn't stop the truck. I'd have been too busy saving my life by getting the hell out of the way to worry about shooting her. Now after she tried to kill me with her truck, I would shoot her if she tried to keep going because she is clearly determined to kill someone.

Tough call. If he had tried to dodge, she could have swerved to hit him. As fast as she was coming, I doubt he could have gotten clear. Putting his vehicle between them may be the only thing that saved his life.
