I think I only have about 15 AK mags, but I've been picking up the Magpul AK mags when I see them on sale

As much as no one likes to admit it, there is a point with semi-durable goods like magazines, where there is a quantity on hand that outweighs it's usefulness.

I may pick up a complete lower, but do it privately. Not through a dealer,,Just watch the adds until one comes up for sale, close to me. I have just about all the parts to build another..

No, that's a great price for sure. Honestly, at 25+ mags, it's probably time to shift the focus somewhere else. Maybe that's not a lot for some people, but that'll last me multiple lifetimes.

Just kidding... I was going through boxes under the reloading bench and found an unopened box from DSG. It had 20 FDE windowed PMAGs in it. I wish I had a picture of the look on my face when I opened it. It was something like "dammit- wait, ok I'm pretty happy about this"

I'd forgotten about those completely. I know about the rest of them (I think).

I have the ones I use and then I have the ones I'll sell.

Good plan for sure- I just got a .300BLK upper and will be doing something like that. Although probably with some low-class duct tape.
