...agree 100%, Denny. Open carry may be legal in some states, but pointing a gun at a bystander, intentionally or otherwise, is not within the scope of permissible law unless SD is involved, IMHO. Granted the muzzle is pointed down slightly, but I don’t care for being shot in the leg either. He and I would have had a serious discussion about the issue and if he became agitated, then I’d call the police and let them deal with the idiot. I don't put up with that nonsense at a gun range and dang sure not at my local retailer.
Furthermore, we don’t know if the AR is loaded. The rifle is slung on his back, thus totally out of his control. So, some kid sees the neat rifle and manages to disengage the safety (if on) and pull the trigger…cause that’s the way he saw it operate in a video game…bang (if loaded).
