I still prefer Marlins for hunting. They are much easier to slick the action up and get buttery smooth. The '94 Winchester is a great gun and fairly smooth out of the box but with a few hours and some fine grit sandpaper the Marlin really shines. Ask @Hayata and @AirOpsMgr about the Marlin that I slicked up. That thing had a buttery smooth action and a phenomenal trigger...There's just something to love about both lever guns and revolvers.
