I watched it before it was taken off..He was filming with his phone in his left hand, while holding the glock in his right..He even made sure the glock was in the pic for several seconds before he started shooting..
In all fairness, it's pretty difficult to be situationally aware while conducting an interview on live tv.
He was treated unfairly by the two he killed because of his race. Of course he was. Not because he was crazy and stupid. I hope the bullet he put in his brain pan hurts real good.
I didn't watch it and I refuse to. The horror that their families are going through is only multiplied by the millions of people watching them die over and over. The words were enough for me. I hope these families find peace and I hope that fucking scumbag dies slowly and painfully.
Lemme tell ya, when you have a camera on your shoulder like that, it is hard to be aware of what is going on around you. You are worried about focus, subject, what the people are saying... It is hard to tune your senses for everything. I want to say that it is easy, but it is not. It is the job that they are doing. I guess it is because I have done that stuff for a few years does it effect me so.
Still... That liveleak vid is just disgusting.
One other thing... Our live trucks had soft body armor in them when going with police on suspected drug raids. I never put it on. A colleague of mine did get shot at on one of those raids where the media was invited to tag along. No one was hurt in that event.
A 12yo puts his hand through a 1.5 million dollar painting to break his fall. I've posted the video, but it's not very dramatic. Seriously, you're at the museum with your family and this happens, what do you do?

I saw the shooter's pov video and, aside from the obvious horror, I had two thoughts.
1) Evil cannot be stopped. He could have just as easily stabbed them both.
2) He shot the woman three times (that I saw) and she was still running away when he turned to murder the camera man. People don't just fall to the ground when shot like in the movies.
