Well, got the Gates 5/8" tactical ambidextrous heater hose on my AK. 
No I meant the plastic lower. On the 30i version the plastic lower houses the mag catch since it takes AR mags. If there was a way to convert to OG 308 galil mags I'd prefer that...if OG galil 308 mags werent fuck nuts expensive
Dammit man. I'm gonna end up ordering a cheese grater and buying a triangle folder now. That looks awesome in that thing! And you don't have to be afraid to use that waffle either. Throw some ammo in it and go. My BFBU waffle is my go-to mag. So freakin' light. It's literally lighter fully loaded than a loaded tanker.
Ahh I gotcha. Yeah I’m getting the KNS delete too. I’ve seen some of the 556 conversions to OG they’re pretty rad too.

The plastic lower and factory pistol grip is surprisingly comfortable. Unnecessary, and aesthetically unpleasant, but not an inconvenience or performance issue

A guy I worked with had one. He drove down to Miami in the 80s to go get it. It lived in basically a big bird house in a chain-link enclosure in his backyard. His wife could hold it and everything but it would take his hand off if he tried to go near it. He hated it. I don't blame him.
