Wife was in the car fixin' to leave, got text that she had no cases today. Also across the board pay cut for the anesthesia group she works for. Good side? It appears to me that they have a plan, good leadership, and are transparent in their actions.

I agree with this, once the “lockdowns” are lifted everyone floods back into regular schedules. The “curve” will probably shoot up but I don’t think as bad.
I think this will be around for a long time. IMO
I don’t care if it “spikes” back up. I’d rather be working around sick people than crash the economy. Us westerners are weak and our ancestors are ashamed of us. Relying on Govt to order us around as if we have lost all reasoning abilities.
Also just a quick FYI. One of our nurses was considered “high risk” so when that order was executed she stayed home. Well......Monday she got denied for unemployment. Things like this actually pisses me off because this lady has at least 3 of the things they considered “high risk” it will be a fight for anyone trying to get this money that was promised to them.
Also my job told us make working from home “the new norm” we just moved into a new office in January. I’m interested to see where they’re going with this.

In other news since all of this started I haven’t lost any money on my stocks. I bought in when it crashed and I’m up 20% in the last 3 weeks. I sold some off but kept some.
