I know it’s crazy how much cheaper it is than renting an apartment. The problem was qualifying for loans. Especially since I had all of my money in cash and wasn’t depositing my paycheck I was just cashing them for years and stacking the bills.
then the real estate agent was like “oh no you need a paper trail for all your income”
So I was behind on that. Said the banks wouldn’t even be able to consider 8,000.00 in cash that hadn’t been deposited during regular intervals.

all this while my apartment is calling me everyday asking if I’m going to be out of my unit in 90days and if I wanted to upgrade units they may have none.

Well hiding your income won't be great for getting a loan
I thought if maybe I could rent a house next from a landlord for a couple years max then I would have that relationship with them where maybe they’d understand I was hunting for a home towards the end of the lease and let me do a month to month while the paperwork was being finalized.
