That's quite interesting. I've handled and shot several PTR91s..but never a real HK91, let alone a G3. I found them to be lacking in comparison to a FAL, but they were at least 25% more accurate in my guess.

Yeah, I'm really talking about accuracy alone with South African surplus ammo...a pretty narrow opinion I know. Maybe there is a real difference between the HK and the clones, I don't know because I have zero experience with the clones. But I think if I am going to be happy gun wise for the rest of my life I better never touch a HK G3 again and forget all about this morning.
