I called my friend earlier, the one who lost his wife. He is doing well and in good spirits, said he was in need of nothing but would like to be kept in some prayer lists. His church is taking good care of him. He adopted his wife's daughter's (she passed away a few years ago from complications from diabetes) 2 kids who are 10 and 13. He is in his early 50s. Long road ahead of him but I think the prayers definitely helped and I want to thank everyone who said some on my behalf.
