State pension maxes out at 30 percent

Hell if I know then. That's what she said. Military guys with 20 years or so retire and then go private sector and do well.

My examples are anecdotal but my overall point was state/Gov jobs might not pay great but the benefits are hard to overcome even with a much greater private sector salary.

Pay is decent/good/great depending on how high up the food chain you can climb. Benefits are outstanding. Again, talking about Federal .Gov jobs.

Metropolitan areas like Dobbins, I'm assuming would get locality pay to help compensate for the higher cost of living? Cost of living in my area is cheap compared to you guys in the Atlanta area.
