My gas tube rattles now that I don't have the Hogue and plastic HGs on it... Is the only solution Paki tape?
Or is there another part I'm missing? Maybe some sort of springy thingy inside the metal upper HG?

Mak FTW. I miss it too. I had a Russian. Bought it on the cheap because I couldn’t afford a Walther. Finally got one, (a real looker too) and sold my Makarov. Honestly, I feel that the Mak was better.

I want another Mak. They are great little guns.
I have a couple of Walthers and I like the P38/P1 a lot. The price on them has gotten stupid though.
