What’s the difference in the AB2T? Only thing I see is where your grenade sight doesn’t meet the upper hg. Which is shorter?
Does T designate Tanker model?
Looks like you sanded the finish? Did you reblue it, or was that hiding under the parkerized finish?

Look at the front trunnion closely. It is an AKM receiver, not RPK.

I just got the last of the parts (except for cleaning rod and slant brake) to return this M70AB2 to its original condition. Oh - and I replaced the retaining plate for the FCG with a thicker stainless one rather than go back to the shepherds hook.

Mak FTW. I miss it too. I had a Russian. Bought it on the cheap because I couldn’t afford a Walther. Finally got one, (a real looker too) and sold my Makarov. Honestly, I feel that the Mak was better.

The AB2T is Century built from surplus parts.. no matching numbers. Like @Jeddak said, the receiver is AKM (no bulged trunnion) style. It is the less desirable one.. but still built like a tank and runs well.

The finish I did with a scotch brite pad, oil and elbow grease...

Cellophane colored tape. @Jds556762 posted a couple of his rifles with Paki tape. Decorations, and makes rifle deadlier.

LOVE the Mak I got from Stang. Cleaned up realy well. Trigger is not bad. Real deal IJ70; I found 2 more mags for it. Need to get a holster and put it into EDC rotation.
