They are GI mags and I’ve only fluffed around with pmag and tapco. I have limited knowledge on ARs, and not very many spare parts laying around

GI mags are good to go, as long as they don't have certain followers. If you have the VERY old black followers, keep the mag but swap out the follower with the new Magpul followers. The newest GI Mags have a blue follower, and are FDE in color. They were specifically designed for the M855A1 round and to feed it reliably in the M4 feed ramps. They are good to go as well. The only GI mags I'd stay away from are the ones that have the Tan follower, it's not uncommon for them to get stuck, and not feed if loaded with more than 20-25 rounds.

I think I’ve got enough Yugo HGs for now - picked up 3 from @Leadhoof (and he sent some other cool stuff), so with the US made son the gun, the extra woods you sent, and the new ones from leadhoof, I’ve got 5 sets.
And a strangely colored AR pmag that I think must mean something and I’m unaware of the joke...

@triplestack3 I'll keep a lookout for those orange tanker pouches. I have one but it's for 30 rounders. Nice pouch though. I think Hungarian pouches are the nicest of the bunch, generally speaking.
