yeap thats whats going on, towards the bottom of mag. I tried to bend it out but thats a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Use the handle on a rubber mallet. Use head as a hndle to turn it. I have not a single dented mag that I have mot been able to fix. Need to replace springs in a couple, they are noticable shorter and do not feed right..
