OK, so a few days ago I was in a pawn shop and they had an AKM - it was a MAADI - and I looked it over. They wanted $800 or so for it, and I thought it felt like a piece of shit. It was tinny, felt light and rattled, paint looked like crap (it was mostly there, but just like a toy or something cheap). The stock didn't fit well, I was generally unimpressed.
And THIS is a 'good' AKM???

Atlantic fireams gets Czech point VZ on a regular basis, both with beaver barf and poly furniture. Mags asre similar to AK, but dufferent. They finaly ran out of surplus aluminum VZ mags and are now making poly mags.
