Retail sucks. When I managed liquor stores in the 80s in Colorado, we'd have people at the door like that every morning before we opened at 8:30a. Our pints & 1/2 pints behind the main register all had big labels on the shelf below them with a price OTD (out the door) because the "early morning crowd" couldn't understand sales tax being added if it showed a different price on the shelf.And people wonder why I hate retail...
If that's the commercial I'm thinking of, it's about 30 years old.
