The only thing I didn’t like about the Bren was the fact that it took proprietary mags and didn’t readily take AK surplus mags but I think someone either modded theirs or there’s a mod available to let you do that now?

it wasn’t a total deal breaker to me because I really like the BREN line up, the 5.56 BREN is awesome
Yeah there is a company that makes a lower for it that accepts AK surplus mags. I forget who posted it on here.

I'm poor, so I just have an AR47

The Lingle Industries BREAK lower receiver is made of Nylon with Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing technology. It is also shot peened to increase its overall strength and features steel reinforcements in the magazine lockup areas.

I hate 3D printed gun parts though. I owned a lot of Custom Smith MFG printed parts for my B&T TP-9 and was never impressed by its durability or quality honestly. Always looked good, was a great idea, but the nylon would wear and warp. Not sure if the break would have the same issues it’s been a few years since I was using those parts. Sounds good with the metal reinforcement and shot peening though. I’d risk it and see
