Shitty neighbors suck ass. But I’ve found that it’s not very difficult to find what they need or want for them to accept your way of doing things. You just have to talk to them. Some are just confused and predisposed to fear and negativity.
My last shitty neighbor was a work from home investment advisor from NY that always complained about everything despite his house being about 1/8mi away from mine. I ignored him. The only thing we had in common is we both like Mercedes.
He came over once to complain that I was cutting a tree at 10am on a Sunday morning.
I had some guns in the back on a table and some wooden boxes from shipments when he walked around back to complain.
He forgot about complaining and started asking questions “are those assault rifles, do you have permits, are you a cop, what are the boxes for”
I just smiled and explained the basics. It didn’t take long for him to understand and change his tone and ridiculous assumptions about guns and other things.
Ikea cabinets were much easier to install than regular, for me. One rail for the top, hang cabinets and they are all level.
Individual legs for the bottom cabinets, easy to level.
New cabinets will be hickory, traditional.
