The pizza kind of mushrooms or the kind that make you hear colors?
Edible ones. Depends on the type of oak you use.
When it’s 45-60 degrees out just before it rains you cut 1” wide sections off a oak log (can be fresh cut or within the last month or so) collect the sawdust from the same tree, mix it with some dirt and set it out on oak leaves or grass in an area that gets very little sun.
That’s it, within 5-10 days you get big mushrooms.
I‘m not an expert at this and not at arborist either but I found out by accident and then decided to duplicate it and it worked.
Got some huge oyster mushrooms a few years ago when I cut down a big oak (not sure what type of oak, but oak works best for mushrooms in my experience, different types of oak produce different mushrooms)
