Here’s my opinion on Steiner. They have a lot of cool looking products but a lot of them have some pretty big issues, either non-intuitive switching, or battery bounce issues or prone breakages etc. they do have some good products I would happily own but the list is short for what I trust from them. I’ve actually seen on several
Occasions and two occasions for myself the OTAL line up fail miserably and the DBAL I2. The CQBL didn’t get great reviews online nor did their pistol laser line up. Pretty much only Steiner I would own is

DBAL D2 ( awesome unit )

I have been looking and taking apart this everytime I go in my local hang out /gun shop. Looks very well made. Shoulders great and the balance is nice.It has the spring loaded plunger already in the front sight base and one 1913 rail lug underneath.

I've been looking at them too, great guns, I would go with the pistol version tho, even if you don't SBR it, the brace that you can get is virtually the exact same as the OG triangle stock. I also found some cheaper mags imported from Russia that work for these on GB

The furniture is also interchangeable with AKM wood, already got my reverse dong in from @jimipanic for when I do get one
