Red dot is awesome, it is faster on target and transitioning, works better at night, works excellent in NVGs. You have to stick with it though and it takes practice to use. You won’t be able to transition from shooting irons to red dot day 1 and be faster. If you stick with red dot and put in the time and money to train with it it will absolutely be faster, give you quicker target transition, and help you make longer shots than just relying on irons IMO
