I checked this past weekend and .300BLK was insane. I've got a dozen boxes of that to get rid of too.

They made them years ago but stopped producing them and they have been impossible to find. Allows 223/556 to feed using AK74 mags. I have several 556 AK's so it's something I have been trying to get my hands on for a while.

I have been toying with idea of rebuilding this Hesse abomination as a triangle folder. Has to be a screw build though cause the barrel in welded to the trunion. One of the things stopping me was the price of 5.56 AK mags.

This may be a nice work around

I messed with something similar years ago. From what I recall a 30rd 5.45 mag will function reliably with around 25 5.56 rounds and a 45rd with around 38rds.
But currently 5.45 and 5.56 ak mags are about the same price, don’t see the point unless you don’t have any 5.56 mags

Mail call. Robinson Arms 223 follower for AK74 mags. Finally was able to get my hands on one. Was thinking of trying to get it modeled and 3d printed? Turns out a place out of Florida just started reproducing them this past week as well.
