I’ll hold off this week. If they ace goes on sale I can sale the Ak63DS cheap and that will put me at 1,110 bucks for a blem. If not, I keep that ak, and go find something to spend $600 on. Thanks for the insight.

Pretty close to it, lol. I run a biathlon - folks run with all their gear, 5-7 miles....a 500 yd silhouette is one of the targets along the way. About half get hits, about half burn a lot of ammo before they time out. Almost everyone runs ARs.....funny stuff. Lotsa operators can't operate.

Not a bad price, don’t know much about the D-tech though. Is that barrel chromed? I built mine from a parts kit on a Czech point receiver that was pre-drilled and tapped for my SBR conversion. If you plan on SBRing you’ll have to drill and tap the back for the stock plate but not too bad. Came out to about 750.00 for me to build complete from an OG kit.

Lotsa operators can't operate, I agree there... your Mini 14 being accurate at 500 yds with practice, and decent shooter, believable... But you won't see anyone shooting a Presidents 100 style match with a mini 14, the simple reason is because, as a whole, they simply aren't that accurate or consistent enough for that style of competition.
