New toolbox. Was cheap! Bought a cased set of Williams SAE 3/8 drive sockets/ratchet/extensions for $75. Got one mismatched socket I gotta replace. I don't think any of it has been used, just been sitting for years.

Got a pair of Mac vice grips for $30.

Gonna put this box together with minimal tools, keep it streamlined. Loved the Snap-On double bay but damn, I had tools in there I'll NEVER use.

Also, got this salty flatback shorty for $8.

Also mailcall.

Also home inspection went well this AM, and talked with the buyer at length and got to know her better. Got good vibes from the whole thing.

Gonna go to my brother's house and kill some hotdogs, might even grab a sixxer on the way over.

Been a good day!

No wonder everyone is ditching 7.62x39
They both have their place, but 5.45 is hard to beat overall. Lighter ammo, easier to stay on target, flatter shooting and more accurate at longer ranges, and plenty of damage even considering it’s a much smaller caliber whether it hits at 3000fps or 1000fps it still tumbles after impact

Stopped by a gunshop in Milledgeville while I was out. Micro Draco $1K.

Butttt...they had about 6 cases of Tula 7.62x39 for $300/case. They had Hungarian brass 7.62x39 for $475/case. I had never seen that stuff before.

Wait.... So you got a 10mm by accident? That's kind of a win.

10mm seems to be the most common socket bc everytime I buy a "lot" of tools (lot=random bunch) I always wind up with extras. After culling and replacing what I want, I will wind up with a pile of random tools and I sell them for cheap or give them away lol

I'm pretty sure that every single bolt on a VW bug is 10mm. My 1st car, and I learned very quickly that I'm not a very good mechanic.
