Found out I got a $50 academy gift card for Christmas. Might use it for a rough rider revolver. December they normally have “spend $100 get $20 off” coupons. So by that logic I can spend $30 of my own and get a 22 revolver. I see this as an absolute win.

I bought an LBT Geronimo ruck from an Air Force dude a while back - he said he'd done 10 tours as (whatever a Forward Air Controller is called now) and that bag had been to Afghanistan with him. It was pretty cool (became my EDC bag for my AR pistol for a while, now it's one of my range bags) but it was filthy.
I took that thing to the tub and cleaned it with a toothbrush and Simple Green to get the adhesive and dirt out of it. I was amazed at the amount and type of dirt that came out of there - I had to clean the tub twice afterwards.
It was worse than when I cleaned my clothes after going caving at Raccoon Mountain. Most of our group just threw their clothes away...But I'm that "thrifty IDIOT"...

If you're talking .458 socom, yeah they fit 10 rds in a standard 30 rd GI 5.56 mag. That was part of the design spec. I also know some guys in Cali that started ordering mags labeled 10 rd .458 Socom after the ban on "hi cap" mags.
It's $20 good. I had it on an hbar dissy, which made the rifle super front heavy, so I went back to plastic furniture
